Nine to Six gives me no time to blog.

Had my first meeting earlier and thank God it was a breeze. Everyone had their mac book except me with a few sheets of white paper that I stole from the copier and my $0.85 pen.


My 'boss' treated me to a Jap meal! Cost freaking $13 for a bowl of Salmon don. (Salmon slices with rice.) I mean it is pretty reasonable if I'm having that for a dinner.. but for a lunch break?!!!

The lady who owns the cafeteria asked if I'm a Singaporean. She isn't the first to ask me that question ever since I set foot into e building. WHY!!?? In fact, I was this question for ALL interviews. Siao Lang.

The funny thing is, when asked which country do I look like I'm from.. people give me answers like 'I also don't know.' or 'You look exotic.'

Do they even know e meaning of 'exotic'??

Anyway, the main point is...the lady said that I'm very pretty. I swear she used e word 'VERY'!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna buy many more cups of hot milo from her during my stay!! HAHAHA

Nothing can hinder us from dining out even when our purses are tight.
We just need to work a little harder on our research and trust me, by looking at how happy we were, you probably thought we just stepped out of somewhere posh.


All sushi on the conveyor belt are at $0.99 per plate!

Orders are placed using ice cream sticks as you walk pass each stall.

Truely great friends are hard to find. Especially one that shares common interests as you. For my case, 'food' to be specific.

I have switched from calling them 'friend dumplings' to Gyoza. To our surprises, the Gyozas exceeded our expectations.
A great fan of Jap food and one who had Jap food for less than 5 times in her entire life. How can you not expect silly things coming from the second?

To be honest, I think it is not as value for money after all!

You pay about $30+ per person inclusive of GST and service charge at Hotpot culture. Over at Family International buffet restaurant, (Used to be Pariss international buffet or something.) you pay about $39.80 (inclusive on GST) on a weekday and you get to eat fresh oysters, salmons, black pepper chicken, crabs, scallops and etc...





Don't judge a book by its cover.

Whenever I'm out, I'll hear AT LEAST one comment from stranger regarding my build.

Now, imagine this...
Me standing at 1.63m and weighs 39kg.
Agri at 1.64 and weighs 41kg.
Cheryl at 1.7 and weighs 40kg.

Three of us walking around and eventually settled our dinner at a BUFFET restaurant.

The last time when I was at a buffet restaurant, I heard a group of people discussing (Somehow, they were pretty loud.) about my size and that I shouldn't waste my money eating buffet. WTH? I nearly went up to them and turned my plate of food over their heads. Haven't they heard of people with huge appetite?!!! Anyway, I think I proved them wrong BIG TIME.


We stepped in, feeling oh-so-excited and in our hearts we knew we are gonna enjoy ourselves for the next three hours.




Oysters, Chile scallops, scallops, sushi, salmons .......
I think Agri had more than 12 oysters while Cheryl and I just stick to our own favorites.

Ate like 20 over pieces of salmon that day.
Second round
Can't remember who started e thing about eating crayfish, all I could remember was Cheryl saying in an encouraging manner that 'when you flip e crayfish over, you'll see lots of flesh underneath.'
Agri: *flips e crayfish over* eeee!
Me: *flips e crayfish over* EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

We were literally put off by the idea of eating crayfish but Cheryl being really sweet, volunteered to help us with it even though she has no past experience of eating crayfish on her own. hahahaha
OMG!
NOT A PLEASANT SIGHT ISN'T IT?
We tried poking for soft flesh but we didn't felt any part that was soft enough to be eaten. That poor girl gave up after a while and asked e chef for help! Seriously, I don't think we are even supposed to do that! haha~ Well, charm is woman's strength just as strength is a man's charm.

The chef presented to us our crayfish with orange slices, something which we three ladies are not capable of.

That's not all..
A few minutes later, a waitress came and said that this was made specially for us by their chefs.

Oprah Winfrey's show was on TV while I was blogging and I was so moved by this story...


When he was 12, Herman Rosenblat and his family were taken from their home in Poland and sent to a concentration camp in Nazi Germany. Young Herman was forced to work shoveling bodies into a crematorium. All the while he did not know if he, too, would soon be killed.

One day two years later, Herman walked up to the barbed wire fence and saw a girl on the other side. "She says, 'What are you doing in there?'" Herman says. "I said to her, 'Can you give me something to eat?' And she took an apple out of her jacket."

I know I look healthier (with much more flesh) in the pictures as compared to now. But my weight at that time was around 35kg and I'm about 39kg now. So the fact is, I did not lose any weight but GAINED.


I don't know why but STRANGERS love to comment on my build. OF ALL SKINNY PEOPLE BUT ME! Just yesterday, this guy actually went 'SO SKINNNNNYYYYYYYY' when I walked past him. What's his problem man? Tsk!

I suggest that you get your footwear one size bigger than what you usually get from the local stores. I'm a true size 6 but I wanted to play safe and ordered my laced up wedges, black Maryjane and tall gladiator sandals in size 6.5. The tall gladiator sandals was fine, just need to punch in 5 more holes. haha.. The ankle laced up wedges were just nice but would look even better if there's about 1cm allowance. The black maryjane seriously need to be in size 7 to have the maximum comfort . =(


Speaking of footwear/shoes/feet ... saw this the other day outside Hougang mall.

I feel like singing e song 'I just can't get you outta my head' now cause I see 'snow fakes' on my shoulders! The result after excessive bleaching and coloring done to my hair. I don't know if bleaching of hair causes itchy scalp or dandruff but it just happened on me.

Bought Selsun treatment for dandruff since it worked for me the other time I got dandruff after bleaching my hair too! Read 'TREATMENT'. This is not shampoo so you are not suppose to use it every day or your hair are gonna end up fried! It is super drying! 2 times as bad as bleaching! So condition, condition and condition your hair!

I did everything on Tuesday. The coloring and trimming.. So while trimming those irksome inches off, my stylist proposed the idea of having asymmetrical bob. I pretended that I didn't hear her because
I have never like the idea of asymmetrical bob...
For the sake of those who do not know what an asymmetrical bob is....
A side shorter than the other.
I don't know why. I just feel that it is not my kind of thing. Seriously, I rather have one side of my hair shaved off than to have asymmetrical bob. I still went ahead with her idea man and yeap I've asymmetrical bob now. -_-

The shorter side like kinda blunt and a bit too short. Arrgh.. I don't know how to explain. My short fringe which I-itchy-hand-went-to-cut is not doing the new hairstyle any good. OVERALL.... NOT NICE AND I'M GONNA HAVE IT TRIM AGAIN TOMORROW! WHO KNOWS, I GET PEK CHEK, TAKE E SHAVER THAT'S LEFT ON THE TABLE AND STARTS SHAVING ONE SIDE OF MY HEAD! LIKE BRITNEY!

Just the other day before I head out for supper, I applied my concealer for my dark rings so as not to be mistaken as hantu. While waiting for the concealer to 'set', I spent some time scrutinizing my face and realized that my concealer sort of blended much better with my original skin than with my foundation. Hmm... Decided to leave my house with nothing else.


I felt the cooling night breeze close on my 1st skin.
It was amazing...


Yesterday, I gave foundation a pass too. This time, I went even further with only minimal makeup. That was to Tanjong Pagar for my job interview and town to do my hair.

The thing is, I don't need foundation. I have nothing to cover and why not just save the money and invest on eye products since that is what that gives me headaches? True right?

Pimple = Still young!

How can I not be fully recovered from my flu and fever after sleeping for 15 hours straight?! Yes, you heard me right! 15 FREAKING hours!


Now that I'm as fit as bull, every ounce of energy shall be put to good use for this whole week!


Started my week by catching a show at Cine. At 2am whereby most people are already sleeping. haha..


Caught Red Cliff since it was a treat. And I actually enjoyed e show despite not knowing what I've got myself into when I agreed to watch it with Jy. There were a lot of stabbing going on (I mean duh??? It's about battles, three kingdoms... erm.. about cao cao? about Liu bei? Whatever it is...) and for your info, I have low tolerance level for such a thing. Don't ask me how I got my ear, nose, navel and tongue piercing. I must be either drunk or was hypnotized to do all of that.

The last 'gore' show that I caught was actually FD3. As for horror, I think it was FD3 too. If you are talking about horror as in hantu .. I think it was 'The Incredible Tales' showed on on Channel 5 about two weeks ago.


Back to Red Cliff!
I think this is so much better than 'Wanted' and 'Hancock' though we can't really compare them since they are of different categories. Oh well, just choose 'Red Cliff' over the other two if you decide to catch a movie this week. Don't worry about the language, there's always the subtitles. It helps me a lot apart from some Chinese saying which makes no sense when translated to English. Don't let your zero knowledge of the 'Three Kingdoms' stopped you from watching it too. I learnt of 'Cao Cao' from the saying 'Shuo cao cao, cao cao jiu dao'. (Speaking of the devil) Wait, are they referring to the same person????


Anyway, after seated for 2.5 hours... I could only remember this AH BUI who has really loud voice and bushy brows and Takeshi. Oh shucks! What's his name in the show?!!!!!!



Now.. Who's gonna watch part 2 with me?!! hahahahaha...



Damn... I thought I could receive my stuff from gojane by end of this week since I sent them my orders on the 5th of July.


I received an email on Saturday (12th July) saying that one of the items was out of stock and another email saying they have just shipped my items out!!!

Last week

Supper with Ambrose after Aijisen with Jayne.

Our initial plan was to chill and then go for supper. Well, Ambrose assured me that he had a 'brilliant' place in mind and that gentleman even offered to pick me at Plaza Singapura. He drove to somewhere near Emerald Hill and the so called nice place for chilling was actually a terrifying bridge that overlook a road.




I see no barriers from where I was standing.... and I don't think there is a need for me to step any near for double confirmation.
A accidental slip and you go down down down to hell. Okay.. I may have exaggerated a tad bit.

She was outside when I called her and so she got me a box of panadol for cold relief after much pleading. Mum says Panadol tablets are crap and insisted that I see a doctor.

My agent told me that the reason I didn't get e job was because I sounded 'aggressive' to them. As in..they don't see me as some one who will stay for long. This was because the reply that I gave in regards to the question about 'my ideal company' wasn't some thing they were looking for.


My reply: 'It would be a company that recognizes potential and gives me more responsibility as time goes by. It would be even better if they see something in me and helps me to move on. I maybe doing admin duties for now but if they see I'm good in other area, they wouldn't hesitate to transfer me to the marking department or whatever.'


I'm stating the bloody fact what!


I sort of knew that I've just put myself at a disadvantage end but I don't want to lie about it as much as I know I need to 'sell' myself well. Actually, the job scope says it all. "Keying invoices into system and telly some stuff.' Going through the same old routine which comes in great volume for you to settle every day! So obviously they are looking for people who enjoy doing such a thing for the rest of their life.


I'm totally okay with their final decision. They have every damn right to choose the most suitable candidate to fill up the position. Well, on my side... I have the right to be peeved by the old lady who interviewed me! I think she was being very biased! I am serious!!! I'm not trying to be thick skinned here but I think I am capable enough for the position! HELLO??!!! KEYING IN OF INVOICES LEH!!!! WTH!??


Maybe she doesn't like girls with makeup on! She doesn't have any and looks like she dedicated her whole life to the company doing admin?
Maybe ... she finds my youth is a THREAT to her!??? WAHAHAHAHAHA
She saw that e guys in the company was teasing me when she arrived. That is their problem and not mine what!




The first interviewer (guy) who interviewed me at Dunearn Road felt I was okay to go for the second round of interview (The old lady and another guy.) and I shared the EXACT same thing with him regarding my ideal company. *&^%$#@!




That's not all. She ran through my resume and nitpicked a few stuff.

The worst sentence that came out from her mouth was
"I see that you don't love your previous companies enough to stay for long.'


Stupid old lady!

THERE WERE ALL TEMP ASSIGNMENTS GIVEN BY MY AGENTS ALRIGHT!!!!
The male interviewer even had to jump in and said: ' She was still young at that time...'




She was not even at the least apologetic for being 45 minutes late! Though the first interviewer was 1.5 hours late yet he apologized (upteen time) and was really nice. He was held up because of a last minute meeting with the MD. Whereas for this old lady's case, she was out for meeting too but when the first interviewer called her.. she set the time at 4:30pm.

Late + No sorry + No explanation. How can I not be frustrated??



And worst, she gave me this freaking black face throughout the whole interview session. Having a arrogant face is not a bad thing if you can put in a little effort to smile and obviously she was not putting in any effort to make the whole interview session a pleasant one. DAMN!



No fret! I have three interviews tomorrow! Tomorrow will be a better day! =)


Oh ya regarding my unhappy visit at Sumo House the other time..

I saw this really hot guy on bus 961 yesterday! He was with his girlfriend and they were facing me because I was seated at one of the awkward seat that faces passengers. I think he is a mixed blood. He has real big eyes and they were bloodshot which looks scarily hot. hahahaha~

I can't help but to steal quite a few glances of him during the journey and I think his girlfriend knew! But who cares? I'm just admiring him not like I want to steal him him away from her. She should be proud of her boo man! I want people to go crazy over my boyfriend too! Like shamelessly gaga over him! WAHAHAHAHAHA


He alighted at the bus stop opposite Abel's block which means darn near my house! HAHA
And he almost fell on me when the bus came to a sudden halt!
We were very close! Like an inch more and I can kiss him on his cheek that kind!
He had to hold on the old uncle's knee to balance himself which I think that was really quick of him to know where to hold!

It is not often that I see hot guys near my house area!
And it is not usual of me to look at guys. Be it I'm single or attached.

My day sucks!
I took a cab down to e place where my job interview was held. But in the end, I waited for 1.5 hours for the interviewer because he had to attend a last minute meeting. Never mind... Was asked to go for 2nd interview conducted by their manager at BUKIT KILANG BARAT ( Sounded like I'm cursing in hokkien.) and I waited for another 45 minutes for her to arrive!

Not all guys react childishly when they are peeved but what happened earlier on to me, just proved that SOME guys can be freaking childish and ridiculously irrational!!!!


This was what happened...

A biker honked at my friend while he was changing lane and I heard my friend saying 'Oh shit... I should apologize.'
And so he did by lifting up his hand and did what drivers would do to show they are apologetic. Apparently, that biker didn't see it, sped up and braked in front of us. WTH!!!!!!!!!!!???????


I am sure he did it intentionally to prove us how careless we were for not noticing him earlier on while changing lane. I understand his frustration and it was our fault. But I find his way of confrontation freaking childish! What was his purpose of doing that? To claim insurance, medical fee and shit? If that is the case, DON'T MOVE! LET US BANG YOU SO YOU CAN CLAIM ALL YOU WANT OR I CAN BLOODY REPORT YOU FOR BEING A ROAD HAZARD AND WE EVEN HAVE WITNESSES!


I would rather he stop us and create a scene then risking his gf's live (Pillion rider). Can you imagine what would happened if we didn't brake in time?? Yes, we could have sent his gf flying off the bike and not him.


This just shows that ...
1. He thinks that his life is cheap. So cheap that he could use it to teach us a 'lesson'.

The other day, I spotted a cat (Should be the mother of the kittens.) with three kittens. The cat is white in color with small black and ginger colored patches. The kittens... one in ginger color, one in black and one in white!! PERFECT FAMILY!!
The white one is the timidest among the three. It ran off whenever I approach them. Super sad! This was taken the first time I saw them... The white kitten ran into the small drain to hide, the black one diao me and the ginger colored one stood near its mum.

They ran helter-skelter and finally into the school building. I insisted on staying till they come out. True enough, the ginger kitten (The bravest.) popped her tiny head behind the pillar and peeped at me!!!!! My heart melted at the sight of it and couldn't move my hand to fish out the camera from my bag in time to capture the moment.

When I gathered back my senses, the ginger colored kitten ran across the pavement and hid behind the wheel of a stationary lorry. The black one joined her about 5 minutes later. The white one was probably too scared. =(

The whole SAGA seed of XX and DY...

Have you guys been following the saga between Xiaxue and Dawn yang recently??


When I first read Xiaxue's blog, I thought she was really crude. But somehow, her blog entries are damn addictive and not long enough, I have became a fan (or reader as what she prefers to call it) of her blog. Don't you agree with me that most of her entries do make sense? And this young lady really has e gut to write just about anything and everything. As much as I love how straightforward she is, I don't agree with all her entries especially about banning of aerosol foams spray. Finds it a bit dumb and I don't think Bangalas are the only tiko peis during Christmas's countdown.



Then I heard about Dawn Yang. Most famous for her good looks and popular blog, as well as a controversy over whether said looks were enhanced by plastic surgery. Initially, I kinda pity her because I know how it is like to be accused by people you don't know and not to say admit for something you have not done?

I'm sure the incident whereby I was accused of doing nose job is still fresh in your mind yeap? No matter how hard I tried proving, that supposingly 'ex schoolmate/classmate/friend/flammer' insisted that I have to 'admit' for something that I have not done.


So I totally understand how she feels throughout the whole fiasco.


But as time goes by, more and more photos of DY before she went for plastic surgeries mushroomed over the world wide web. I can't help but to be doubtful of her good looks. But who cares? Girls undergoing knifes are damn common.. I can name you a few local artists who have done something to their face before. Be in minor or major. Seriously, I've been thinking for one for quite some time already. That would be after I get my braces but before getting married. I'm thinking of going for surgery to remove eyebags. I'll tell you guys when so you all can come and laugh at my swelled up face. I'll post up pictures too. BOY! This is gonna be pretty exciting. *bimbotic manner*

If what Xiaxue and other netizens say about her looks were true... with all due respect, I think this is so hypocritical of her man!

Yes, Arissa is hot and I heard that she's born with good features without PS. Have never seen her in person before so I won't say much. I know her brother (quite hot) though but we are not close. I just got home from supper and I saw that Dad has bought me a bottle of nail polish remover. The exact same brand that I'm using. He must have bought it a few day ago after seeing that mine was running low. *sigh* I don't even know when he bought it which makes me feel like I'm the worst daughter ever.



From today onward, I am going to spend more with my family. Not just more time but QUALITY time.

1. Dinner at home, thrice a week and spend my Sunday with them!
2. Watch telly with them!
3. Do silly things to make them laugh.
4. Shower them with gifts. Maybe cigar for my dad and sexy lingerie for mum.


5 reasons why I should love my parents more...

1. Dad stocks up e house with food so much that we can feed a small village in Africa. Oh, he specifically buy only junk food.
2. Mum listens to my kind of musics. Be it 'apple bottom jeans, gimme more or RAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR (metal)'
3. Mum reads my magazine just so she can pick up something nice for me as a surprise while doing her shopping. There were times I peek into her cook book and whipped up 'surprises' for her too.
4. Dad walks into a shop with ang gong peeking out of his sleeves and buys nail polish remover, nail polish, facial cotton and moisturizers on my behalf. Dad, you are DA man yo!
5. My Dad has full body ang gong like Wentworth milller aka Michael Scofield from Prison Break. hahahahahaha. I think my dad is as cool! I should introduce him to my other ang gong friends.

An old uncle who lived just opposite my block commited suicide by jumping down from the 4th floor. I can see his body (covered) from my unit but there weren't many bystanders like what you see on tv drama. And I think the polices are waiting for his relatives to come back home because they seem to be asking people around them if they knew him.
